Hi friends! It’s been a few weeks since I have been able to write anything. I am still a toddler and I do have to rely on my mom’s help when it comes to the computer. Let’s be real, I could probably use a computer better than she can, but my moms say I have to limit my screen time. How do I become a tech genius if they won’t let me have any screen time? Oh, that’s right, mom says I already have a gig as an Assistant Controller. Lame.
Anyway! I have lots to talk to about. So grab a sippy cup and enjoy!
Speaking of sippy cups. I am making my moms buy all new big kid sippy cups and getting rid of my baby sippy cups. I mean, I am 17 months old now. That’s like 3 years old in doggy years. All of my friends are big kids and they drink out of big kid sippy cups. It’s embarrassing that my moms still treat me like a baby, especially in front of them. I refuse to drink out of my baby sippy cups in public. My moms really need to start treating me like the big kid I am. Right, friends?

My Grammy is still recovering from becoming bionic in her knee. I have been making sure she goes to PT when she’s supposed to. I’m pretty sure the place my Grammy gets her PT is going to hire me as their new intern PT soon. I am a natural at this stuff. I helped my friend, Mrs Heidi clean up the PT office, I lifted a 35 lb kettlebell, showed everyone the proper use of a treadmill, and the best part – the big green ball! You can do so much on the green ball! That is the coolest toy ever! If I needed a reason to be a Physical Therapist, that would be it! They even let me do some work on this contraption that has springs on it. It’s cool, but hard. And apparently you have to watch your fingers on it. My physical therapy friends are a hoot!

I helped my Grammy so much that I even helped her figure out her walker. I know she super appreciated that I always took her walker for a walk and left it outside of her reach. I was being super helpful and encouraging my Grammy to walk to her walker and get stronger.

I had to go on a few road trips the last couple weeks. The first one was taking my Grammy back to my Granny’s house out in the Middle of Nowhere, USA. That’s what my mom calls it, but I don’t think that is a real place. On the way back home, I made my Mama stop for lunch in Minden because I was hungry. Hangry…hungry. It wasn’t pretty. We sat down to eat and there was another kid there that was super funny! I was laughing at him and talking to him. We had the best time! I think it was date, but my moms say it’s way to soon for that. My mom says that I can’t date until I’m married. What does that even mean? Remember, she’s weird. On the way back home though, Mama gave me an ice cream sammich! That was one of the best treats ever and she let me eat in her truck!

After that, my Dada (grandpa) came and spent the night with me. He had to come because my Sohan Mama (uncle) had to go to the hospital for a little while. That was sad, but boy did I have fun dancing around his hospital room making everyone laugh. My Masa (uncle) even tied a balloon around my wrist! That was so cool! The ballon went everywhere with me. I chased it all over! I digress – My Dada had to come up and see my Sohan Mama since he had to go to the hospital. So I took my Dada back home to Hawthorne.

I went crazy when I got to my Ma and Dada’s house. I ran from corner to corner and dumped out all of their cabinets. I had the best time ever doing that! When Mom and I came back the next day, my Mama was doing some work in my room. I didn’t know what she was doing at first since all she did was keep the door shut. When she finally showed me, it blew my my mind! My Mama painted my room. Although, I did think it was a big Uh Oh because you’re not supposed to paint the walls. Or maybe it’s I’m not supposed to paint the walls when I have cheese dust on my fingers? Hmm. It looks so cool now! My Mama is the best Mama ever!

You now what else my Mama did for me? I love going into my closet and hiding in it. So she built a secret hangout spot for me! Of course I helped her. I had to show her where to put the screws and how to make sure the boards were level. I also had to show her how to do the upholstery and make sure she got the color scheme right. Mama really did let me pick out the lights and the fabric for my chair though. It’s so awesome and I am having so much fun hiding in there and reading my books! I need to help my other Masa build rocket ships, so I am taking a crash course in rocket science. But without the crash part, duh. My moms bought me books on General Relativity, Rocket Science, and Quantum Phsyics for babies. I’ll be helping him in no time. I’m glad my Mama built the perfect little space for me to read.

I’ve also been super sick thanks to the white sharp things coming out of my mouth. It’s made me feel miserable. I haven’t wanted to do anything but cry and nuggle with my moms. Being sick is for the birds.
How could I forget the big thing? It was my cousin Dec’s 6th birthday! She is such a big kid! She invited me to her birthday party and of course I had to go. She had a big water balloon fght for her birthday. My auntie tried getting me my own splash pad since I’m little, but that didn’t work out like they had planned. So I ended up trying to hang tough with the big kids. I was doing so good too! But then I started getting tired and got myself a couple of owies. I’m proud of the one on my elbow. If you’re not playing this hard, are you even playing?

I told you guys, there’s been a lot happening in my big world. I hope you still have some sips left in your sippy cups. Besides my adventures, I have been having fun playing in my pool and going back to Hike It Baby with my big kid friends.

When you party hard, you crash hard too! Thanks for reading my story. Have a good week my friends!
